Productivity and Energy Hacks for High Achieving Women

Stop relying on caffeine for your energy. Energy boosting hacks for executive women.
Stop relying on caffeine for your energy. Energy boosting hacks for executive women.

Does this morning routine sound familiar?

Alarm goes off. Snooze.

Second alarm goes off and you're down the wire with time. You quickly get out of bed, go straight to the coffee, and make sure everyone else is taken care of.

You may or may not be eating breakfast, but could be pouring that second cup of coffee into your "commuter" mug. You're out the door in a rush and headstrong to tackle the day.

By 10:00 am your feeling brain fog, fatigue, and just a little sluggish? So -- you grab for more coffee and do your best to complete your 16:8 fast.

Is this a similar routine to yours?

We’ve all been there—running on three cups of coffee, elbows deep in our work, and forgetting about the essential needs of functioning. In fact, "self-care" is a laughable phrase because when do you have time.

The truth?

For women who lead, build, and give their all every day… things rarely slow down and you're going to have to make time for the things that keep you well and energized at the cellular level.

Caffeine becomes the quick fix, but its not the solution. In fact, more coffee could actually be making your feel worse!

Because energy—real energy—doesn’t come from a cup, it comes from the way you live, breathe, and care for yourself daily...in those stolen micro-moments.

So let’s talk about what actually fuels sustained focus and energy—without the crash, the fog, or the constant dependency.

1. Your Morning Rhythm

That 6 a.m. coffee might feel like your lifeline, but here’s a little secret: your body’s natural cortisol peak already gives you a burst of alertness between 6 and 8 a.m.

Instead of reaching for caffeine immediately, start your day with hydration and movement.

Try warm lemon water, a 10-minute stretch, or a few deep belly breaths to naturally wake your nervous system.

Then, if you still want your coffee—enjoy it, but let your body lead, not your habit.

2. Eat for Energy, Not Urgency

High-achieving women often skip meals or grab quick carbs just to get through the day. The problem? Blood sugar spikes lead to the same crashes that caffeine does.

Focus on protein, fiber, and healthy fats at each meal to sustain energy and brain focus.

Think:

  • Smoothie with protein + greens + almond butter

    • My favorite: Orgain Protein Powder

  • Midday snack of avocado and veggies.

  • Dinner that’s colorful, not complicated

Food is your most powerful fuel. Eat like your energy depends on it—because it does.

3. Honor Your Mental Energy Cycles

You don’t need to push through every hour of the day. You need to protect your prime hours of focus.

Most women have a 90–120 minute natural productivity rhythm. After that, focus drops. Instead of pushing harder, step away for a micro brain break.

Try:

  • 3 minutes of quiet breathing

    • I used to set a 3-minute timer on my phone, take off my smart watch, roll out my yoga mat, shut my office door, and turn off the lights. Then I would lay on the floor in quiet meditation. This was AMAZING for a quick afternoon reset.

  • A walk outside to reset your eyes and your thoughts

  • Listening to calming music instead of scrolling. Actually close your eyes.

Protecting your energy rhythm is the key to getting more done in less time.

4. Reset Your Nervous System Daily

When your mind is constantly “on,” your body never gets to reset. This is where burnout begins.

One of the simplest energy hacks? Regulate your nervous system.

Try micro-breaks with BrainTap or deep breathing between tasks. Stretch your neck and shoulders every hour. Take a real lunch—away from your desk.

When your body feels safe, your brain performs better.

5. Replace Hustle with Harmony

High performance doesn’t require more caffeine, more willpower, or more hours. It requires balance, boundaries, and a system that supports your energy from the inside out.

That’s exactly what my Get Your Spark Back Program was designed to do.
