About Dr. Lexi Lain
As owner and chief executive officer of Summit Vitality, Dr. Lexi Lain creates healthy leaders with proactive, education-based, wellness programs. Through her passion to see clients lead healthy lives physically and emotionally, she motivates her patients out of burnout, helps them obtain the energy they desire, and reclaim their spark. Dr. Lexi successfully treats clients with chronic fatigue, chronic pain, insomnia, hormonal imbalances, and reoccurring infections, among others. Her passion is in listening to patient stories and aiding them in solving the jigsaw puzzle of health.
Dr. Lexi earned a doctorate degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Oklahoma State University. Currently, she is president of the Rotary Club International of Davidson and hosts Walk With a Doc, Davidson Chapter, a nonprofit that promotes education, exercise, and empowerment. Dr. Lexi’s mantra is, “Stop asking me what you should be taking for something. Ask me what you should be DOING instead.” Presently, she is building Dr. Lexi’s Academy, an online learning platform that teaches self-care and how to live your best life.
In her spare time, Lexi enjoys finding live music and training and participating in triathlons. This fall, she will compete in a relay for the Half Ironman in Wilmington, North Carolina.
In the Community
Dr. Lexi runs Walk with a Doc, Davidson Chapter. This is an international non-profit organization that offers a free, physician lead, education program. We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month outside The Davidson Public Library at 9:00 am. We walk 1.5 miles and have conversations about wellness. Come join us!
Dr. Lexi is the current President of The Rotary Club of Davidson. Our club connects the community with local non-profits in the Giving Tree Village during Christmas in Davidson. She also lead a team to raise funds for Gift of Life International, an organization that sends a team of doctors to places in the world where kids with heart disease need care. They not only teach other doctors and nurses how to perform pediatric cardiac care but also offers families hope and saves kid’s lives.
