A Mid-Year Review for Your Health Goals: Let's get motivated to stay on track!


As professionals, we know the importance of progress reports and mid-year reviews for our businesses. But have you ever considered doing the same for your health goals? It got me thinking, what if we took a moment to assess our health journey too?


It starts with setting clear health goals and putting them down in writing. Then, perhaps you've taken measurements like weight, clothing sizes, energy levels, or even got your annual labs done. With a plan in place, you took action and got to work.


Now, let's talk about mid-year reviews. If you've been crushing your health goals, congratulations! Celebrate your accomplishments and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back. You're on the right track, and it's inspiring to witness your dedication.


On the other hand, if you haven't quite stayed on track as you hoped, don't fret. mid-year reviews can be incredibly enlightening and motivating. They help us identify weak areas, reflect on the obstacles we faced, and uncover new solutions we may not have seen before.

Here are some ideas for a mid-year review of your health:

  1. Revist your baseline measurements and take new ones.

  2. Set up an appointment with your wellness team to re-test some numbers you've been activetly working on. Cholesterol, blood sugar, and inflammatory markers are great areas to consider.

  3. Re-testing can actually be a great way to make sure your supplements are a good fit. Examples could be Vitamin D, B12, or Iron levels.

  4. When patient start with me, I give them a Metabolic and Brain Health assessment form. These are great to use for the midyear reveiw.
